AMARANT Village and its local partners achieve more with our joint initiatives. Our projects help improve the lives of young people and their families in communities around the world. Working together, we are proud of the progress we continue to make. Look at what we do, who we help, and how we work every day to make the world a better place, one village at a time.

Working with our local partners, Rising Stars Police Youth Organization and Reading For Fun, we help young people overcome at-risk challenges by helping their families to support good behavior and smart thinking through activities, programs, consultations, health screenings and literacy support. In one such effort, together, we brought chess training to the community for all to join in the local games and tournaments.

At AMARANT Village, we know that a lot of the work of helping people starts with an idea that sparks a group of people to do something. A new association of services for girls and young women is now starting up in Uvira, Eastern Congo, where females have few choices and opportunities. We want to build on the life skills and literacy programs, along with the human rights initiatives to offer greater choices for girls and women, one step at a time.
